IrBEA National Conference 2018:Delivering Operational Excellence to the Irish Bioenergy Industry

About IrBEA

IrBEA is the National Association representing the bioenergy industry on the island of Ireland.

IrBEA seeks to increase understanding of issues related to biomass supply chains used to generate energy in the form of heat, electricity and transport. The main objectives of the association are to influence policy makers, to promote the development of bioenergy, and to promote the interests of its members.

Improving public awareness, networking and information sharing, and liaising with similar interest groups are other key areas of work in promoting biomass as an environmentally, economically and socially sustainable energy resource. Governance and strategic oversight is provided by our CEO, President and Management Committee, with operational support from an Executive Team.

IrBEA is affiliated to AEBIOM, the European Biomass Association and the European Biogas Association (EBA).

IrBEA operates as a not-for-profit limited liability company. IrBEA is funded from member contributions with other income established from services and consultancy.

Conference Theme

The IrBEA National Bioenergy Conference is an event driven by the need for sustainability, growth and development within the Irish Bioenergy industry. This sector of the Irish Green Bioeconomy merits a symposium which recognises leadership and operational excellence in Irish Bioenergy.

The theme of IrBEA’s National Conference is very much to develop continuous improvement, sustainability and operational excellence within the Irish Bioenergy sector and to create Opportunities for Sustainable Growth.

With this in mind IrBEA are proud to announce our 2018 National Bioenergy Conference – Bioenergy Future Ireland which will bring together industry leaders and like-minded individuals to openly discuss the importance of operational excellence and sustainability of Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI), RES (E), RED II, Biomass, CHP, Biogas, Biofuels, Anaerobic Digestion and much more.

Bioenergy Future Ireland 2018 will attract senior-level executives and influencers from Irish industry & business, national grid, supply, finance and Government to create an environment in which to network, do business and access frontier knowledge on the latest developments, trends, strategies and policies relating to one of Ireland’s most important energy sectors.

Delegates will hear engaging presentations from some of the most influential people in the Irish & International bioenergy sectors and there will be multiple engagement opportunities with speakers, IrBEA CEO and President along with Government, Industry and Solution Supplier representatives.
